INTRODUCTION
The three aspects of project knowledge that we present at this website for those who want to write and execute their golf play improvement project are:
- Project management terms
- Project Processing Groups
- Project Plan Structure
We first present project management terms within the following two sections.
PROJECT TERMS
The next few project management terms are important.
Project Management Plan (PMP)
A written document that describes the details of the work to complete a project.
Project
A temporary formal effort to achieve a defined result.
Management
The process of making decisions that will result in the achievement of a goal.
Project Manager
The person that writes the project management plan and makes the decisions relative to a given project. The individual golfer will be the project manager for their Golf Performance Improvement PMP.
Process
A series of actions completed to achieve a result or goal.
Effective
To produce the desired result.
Flow Chart
A diagram that shows the actions to be completed by a person to achieve a result.
Risk Management
Decisions that are made to eliminate risk or to reduce the effects of risk that might occur during the execution of a project.
The “PMBOK GUIDE” presents the project management processing groups and these groups will be discussed on the next webpage. Go To Project Process Groups.
