PROJECT CLOSING REPORT

REPORT PURPOSE

The purpose of the “Project Closing Report” is to review the performance related to the completion of any golfer’s golf play improvement project and to discuss the actions that are required to be completed to finish the project.

DELIVERIABLE

The one deliverable of this project is a golf score card that shows the golfer has played an eighteen-hole round of golf on a course that meets the standard as set forth within the project goal statement.

The author’s project status is presented next.

PROJECT STATUS

As of May 15, 2025 the status of the author’s golf play improvement project is “not finished.”  He shot a round of golf with a score of 109 on a par 72 golf course in April of 2025.  The total yardage of the holes played was 6007. His average hole score for the round was 6.06.  His project goal plan called for an average hole score of 6 or less.

The author’s project plan completion plan is presented next.

PROJECT COMPLETION PLAN

The author’s project completion plans are discussed within this section.

Prior to May 15, 2025 and after earning a golf score of 109 in April of 2025 the author completed the editing of his entire golf play improvement project plan beginning with his goal statement and ending with this “Project Closing Report.”

After May 15, 2025 the steps that the author plans to take to assist him with completion of the project are as follows.

1. Conduct golf shot practice sessions using his newly edited address and swing details.
2. Conduct golf shot practice sessions using a range finder to help him better know the distances that he carries his drives and other golf shots.
3. Use the shot play routines that he has included in his newly edited golf play improvement project plan.

The author believes that completion of the items just noted will help him to achieve his score goal within the next few weeks.

PROJECT FINISH DATE PLAN

The author plans to finish his golf play improvement project no later than July 1, 2025.
